We apply our skills and experience in the areas of social research and planning to assess the likely social impacts of projects prior to their implementation or to evaluate projects following their completion.
Projects we have assessed/evaluated include major infrastructure projects, such as mines and road developments, urban renewal projects, housing and community infrastructure projects, and proposals to establish licenced premises, gaming venues and brothels. We are regularly called upon to present our findings as experts in the context of VCAT and Planning Panel hearings (some examples of cases we have been involved in are provided here).
