Public Place is a collection of experienced directors and associates from a variety of backgrounds. We bring a small team to each project, which allows an approach that is efficient and uniquely tailored to our client’s desired outcomes.

 

Glenn Weston

Director

Glenn is a director of Public Place and has 15 years’ experience working in the public and private sector, conducting impact assessment, evaluation, quantitative and qualitative research, service and facility planning and program design and management.

 

Glenn is committed to ensuring that our urban environments are safe, vibrant and inclusive. He works alongside his clients to build knowledge so that decisions about our urban environments are well informed and effective.

 

Glenn has excellent analytical skills and the ability to apply the insights gained from social research and analysis to generate creative and practical solutions.

 

Brydie Quinn

Director

Brydie has a depth of experience in governance, management and health care. She has over 17 years experience working in the government and health sectors, in acute, sub-acute and community settings, where she has held a range of leadership positions focusing on operational management, service reviews, model of care improvements and clients flow/throughput. She has also held roles at both the Federal and State Government levels focused on policy development and implementation.

 

She has a strong track record in initiating and maintaining quality and safety governance structures. She is also experienced in board governance, having been the Chair of North Yarra Community Health for 7 years. Brydie holds a Masters of Public Policy and Management and is driven by a passion for improvement, both for service users and for those working within services.

 

 

Virginia Anderson

Associate

Virginia is an experienced planner and advisor, with over 17 years’ experience providing policy and strategic advice within both the public and private sectors. She has particular skills in integrated transport planning, stakeholder engagement and facilitation and the preparation of business cases.

 

Much of Virginia’s work has involved working with multiple agencies and stakeholders to reach collaborative solutions that meet varying, and often diverse, needs and expectations.

 

Virginia’s style is collaborative, seeking to question and challenge assumptions and to critically analyse problems in order to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.

 

Catriona Wienmann

Associate

Catriona has over 12 years’ experience working as a planner and community engagement specialist. Catriona began her career as a strategic planner and this experience has provided her with a solid professional foundation. More recently Catriona has chosen to focus on social and community development projects. Catriona is passionate about helping people to effect positive changes to their environments.

 

Catriona recently completed a Graduate Diploma in Health Promotion at Deakin University to strengthen her understanding of how to create healthy spaces and healthy communities. Catriona has worked with a range of government and private clients in urban, regional and international settings (including Samoa and NZ) which is testament to her flexible and adaptable approach.
